  1. God bless you people! Lovely photo too. Great post on this. FREE Burma!!!

Bush slammed the UN and the rulers of Myanmar in his UN speech last week. The only country that has any influence over Myanmar is China, and they can't and won't push too hard. There is too much Oil & Gas there that they need.

The UN must do something, but they never use military force to fight.
    That is a huge problem.

Illegal drug and ruby fortunes are a BIG part of this too.

    absurd thought -
    God of the Universe wants
    complete narco states

    criminals in power
    loving the corrupt drug war

    absurd thought -
    God of the Universe says
    shoot peaceful protesters

    calling for democracy
    which you must never allow

    absurd thought -
    God of the Universe thinks
    keep trying communism

you can never KILL too much
    pursuing Utopia...

  2. Glad to see you're back !! Hope everything is well with you !

I also hope that the UN increases its pressure on your ''regime''and that peaceful demonstrations won't be put down violently anymore. Such brutal actions against peaceful demonstrators are just indefensible and totally unacceptable !

I still pray for you, the monks and your fellow countrymen, wish you all the best and try to help wherever I can to support the Burmese people ! Don't lose your hope ! (Mark from Germany)

  7. Glad to see you're back. Know that we're all still listening. I submitted an article to my local newspaper about the atrocities that the military has committed against ethnic minorities over the last 50 years. The paper will run the article this week. We are still fighting to keep this issue in the forefront of the public eye.

  9. Sorry to butt in... but I prayed for the first time since I was a child last night. I prayed for peace and an end to all this violence. I will continue to support the people of Burma (and all oppressed people) until resolution is reached. What's important is to keep the news alive so people don't start to forget...

  11. It is not the time to issue the statement deploring the Burmese regime's conduct.
Every word should be turned into action now.
Life under Burma's military regime is hopeless and miserable.
We are blogging! We are fighting!
