Wizz
I read RSS feeds on Bloglines previously. But, these days, my dial up
connection is getting worse and I decided to use RSS feed reader which
I would be able to download feeds and read offline.
The only reader I have is Opera browser. So, i enter the feed URLs and started using it. But, I felt frustrating when it didn't update well.
There, I searched for Firefox extension and found this extension (add-on) called Wizz. The first thing I did on Wizz is importing my live bookmarks. Wizz works on sidebar of Firefox and it has three panes. Top one is list of Feeds. Middle one is list of posts from selected feed. And bottom pane shows the post contents. If you single click the post, it opens the web page of post in main window and if u just mouse-over, it shows the feed content only.
If you don't want to see its toolbar, hide it and just add two buttons of it.
I think Wizz is quite good if you want to read feeds offline like me. It was a little bit weird for me when I tried first time since its terminology for feed is "channel". So, if you want to add new feed, right click and select "add channel". Still I don't know what "watch list" is for. I gotta read its help page later.

Release Ma Phyu Phyu Thin now
Still, nobody knows where activist (Ma) Phyu Phyu Thin was detained.
Police took her from her home on the night of May 21, telling her
mother that she would be sent back after questioning. For more than one
month, her family was trying to learn where she was but the authorities
didn’t answer them. She is just a good hearted young lady who
has been caring for HIV/AIDS patients since 2002.
SPDC should release her and apologize for detaining her with no reason.

Safari
Yay!!!
I got a new toy. I downloaded and testing Safari on my windows machine.
You know Apple released windows version of Safari browser and already reached 1 million downloads within 48 hours. But it was said that this beta version still has vulnerabilities. So, previously, I thought I should wait for stable version. But I felt itchy and downloaded it today. ;)
So, what's the difference?
Well, the interface is in apple style as usual (like Quicktime). It is gorgeous. (except I cannnot resize it easily :D )
The first thing I noticed is font smoothing. It is awsome. It looks like Windows's ClearType. But the one on Safari is not using ClearType. Apple is always famous for it's wonderful typography, u know. In old days, Burmese desktop publishers used Apple Mac's only because of beautiful Burmese fonts on it.
Here are screen shots of zawgyi-one font on different browsers and font smoothing.
Wait!!!! I still cannot use Safari online. :) Coz, there is no way to configure it to connect Myanmar ISP which uses proxy server. I think that option will appear on stable version.

Wicked SPDC
Part one.
The coward SPDC is doing his dirty works as usual. They attack activists with all wicked methods. They shut down the businesses of NLD members. Two days ago, textile shop of Daw Win Mya Mys's brother was shut down by local authorities and 100 million kyets worth shop was seized.
How many people who love truth and works for people's freedom would need to sacrifice more in Burma?
(read DVB news in Burmese.)
Part two.
Someone sent me photos of people praying for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi on May 27, 2007. Photos include People and 88 generation student leaders in front of NLD head office where some SPDC's terrorist group called "kyent phut" arrived to attack. You can see photos of disgusting kyent-phut’s in following pdf file.

Go to hell damn SLORC
Go to hell damn SPDC
Hello guys and gals, long time no see, huh? I have many things to talk
about while I couldn't blog. Let me start with serius talks first and
blah blah blah later.
A blogger friend of mine sent me one news two weeks ago. Although this news is quite late now, i think, I must speak out.
Damn SLORCSPDC no longer allows some charity organizations to continue. Why on earth they could stop people from doing good thing? Since they oppressed peaole, everybody is suffering from poverty. This time, these charity organizations are helping out poor people for health care and funeral. Most prominent org is (U) Kyaw Thu's "နာေရး ကူညီမႈအသင္း". What the hell is this SLORCSPDC doing? They just want to see people suffer? They insulted people too much. They also extended house arrest for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. This is also insult to people of Burma. Believe me, You SLORCSPDC and everybody letting SLORCSPDC stands well will surely go to the bottom of hell and never escape.
Announcement of SLORCSPDC page one
Announcement of SLORCSPDC page two
UPDATE: I don't know why I wrote SLORC instead of SPDC. SLORC is an old name, huh? anyway, SPDC, SLORC all the same.
